AGREEMENT OF RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I am participating in the yoga classes offered by Nirvana Retreats during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga. I recognize that yoga requires physical exertion which may be strenuous and may cause or aggravate physical injury and I am fully aware of and willingly assume the risk and hazards involved. As is the case with any strenuous exercise, I understand that there is a possibility of injury and that it is my responsibility to consult a physician regarding my ability to participate yoga in a yoga studio prior to my class at Nirvana Retreats. I affirm that it is my responsibility to advise every instructor at Nirvana Retreats of any physical conditions, which may limit my participation in the yoga studio. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga practice and/or specific poses are not recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions.I am responsible for all personal belongings. Nirvana Retreats will not be responsible for lost or stolen belongings, inclusive of items stored in mat storage.

In accordance with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation I give my consent to receive electronic communications from Nirvana Retreats regarding; upcoming workshops, trainings, announcements, invitations, events, promotions and all other related electronic communications. I represent and warrant that I have no psychological, medical, or emotional condition which would prevent me from safe participation in yoga classes, workshop(s), or teacher training. Nirvana Retreats reserves the right to refuse access and to ban patrons from our the facilities if other members or staff experience any form of harassment. I release and discharge Nirvana Retreats, its owners, directors, staff, participants and its instructors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or actions that I may have resulting from injury, death or damages arising from my participation in the yoga classes at Nirvana Retreats. I have read and recognize that the above release and waiver of liability is a legal contract and fully understand its contents. I agree to the terms and conditions.
